What, how, with what, for what: we provide the answers

The following overview gives you detailed information on selected plant-based raw materials and relevant analytes that can be analyzed using specific analytical methods. Depending on the issue at hand – whether to ensure bioavailability as part of food studies, or to evaluate product quality and raw materials – the overview serves as important guidance when planning your analyses. The legend below provides additional background information on the intended use and the resulting benefits for your product development and quality assurance.

Bioavailability

Bioavailability studies are used to clarify relevant parameters such as absorption capacity, toxicity, and optimal active ingredient formulation. Whether for the reformulation of products or product complexes, or for validating certain products – the data on bioavailability ensure that regulatory requirements are met and inform decisions on the selection and formulation of suitable raw materials.  Customers benefit from being able to bring safe, effective, and optimally formulated products to market in a cost-efficient manner. Conceptually, this can be analyzed using in vitro models or human studies. The uptake of lead substances is determined analytically.

Food study

Food studies analyze specific formulations with regard to nutrition-related questions concerning bioactive ingredients. The aim of these studies is to provide evidence of health-related effects in order to substantiate product concepts and, if necessary, to scientifically substantiate health claims for marketing communication.

Product quality

Do you want to systematically optimize existing formulations, or do you need to prove quality standards? The reliability and safety of products can be demonstrated and improved through comparative analyses and external, independent quality assurance. Customers benefit directly through increased market appeal, consumer confidence and improved long-term product performance.

Raw material valuation

Raw material assessment involves analyzing the raw materials used in detail with regard to the quality specifications defined by the customer. This reduces risks relating to changes in cultivation conditions and quality fluctuations and ensures consistent product quality. Customers benefit from greater transparency when selecting suppliers as well as increased product integrity and compliance with quality standards.

This is a non-exhaustive overview of analytes that can be analyzed by our team. Do you have any further questions or are you interested in working with us? We will be happy to advise you on your individual enquiry.
